Ok, guess I'll start with home sweet home.
New York
Capital: Albany
Was the original center of American government before Philly and DC.
Its highest peak is Mt. Marcy in the Adorondacks.
It's state animal is the beaver.
And finally: Long Island, my home, looks like a huge fish or whale. The mouth part is right around the Queens area but as you go out further east the land divides into two separate prongs thus making the tail.
And yes, despite the denial of their residents, Brooklyn and Queens are technically part of Long Island, so ha.
